Money
Entry fee is a flat $10 per race. Line entry only. The more people that enter the more prize money you can take home. Based on 70 riders on the circuit, the winner is looking at $350 in winnings. Below is the distribution.

1st = 50% of line entries
2nd= 25% of line entries
3rd = 10% of line entries

Primes- for the moment these will be product primes. If this changes to a dollar value from a collection of, or an individual sponsor, ALL money received will go directly to the racers.

Women
All race entries for the women’s division will be put back to the riders. The organizers of this event will derive no income from the women’s line entries so as to encourage more starters. Unless otherwise requested, women will be placed in the B category. Places will be paid to 3rd position. If there is only one finisher which hopefully is not the case, all of the prize money will be afforded to this competitor so there is an incentive to keep riding toward the finish for all the female athletes.

Elimination Racing
This is an initiative that is a first for the club and as such could be a huge success. However, as these races are about you as a riding group, if the greater majority of the racers agree that this format is not to their liking we will then run the remainder of the races as per race number 1, a standard criterium.

Open Invitations
We absolutely love our cycling. Sponsors of local athletes and teams are a great reflection of this. We are but one group of many that have similar circumstances and would encourage the cycling community to join in as a part of this dynamic. If you have a product, store etc that you would like to “show off” we are very welcoming of this. We will be setting up from around 9am and expect entries from round 930am. Please come and set up and show your wares off to the Cycling community. If you have sponsored athletes in the race, bring your store vehicle, marquee and we will provide photography plus pre and post race interviews. The gate will be open from 9am.
